The patient library is a Dewey classification collection accessible to patients and staff. SWVMHI Professional library is a National Library of Medicine (NLM) library and has available to its clients all of the services provided by an NLM library, as a member of DocLine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The purpose of both library collections and services is to meet the expressed work related and patient rehabilitation information needs of all staff and patients at SWVMHI, in both print and electronic formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The collection includes Adult Health Advisor and Behavioral Health Advisor on CD in the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>To enrich provision of services, the library is also a member of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SALIS: Substance Abuse Librarians and Information Specialists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SWVAHILI: Southwestern Virginia Health Information Libraries and is sustained and supported, in part, by the Library of Virginia, and membership in OCLC.
