PGH welcomes in-person visitors; however, we strongly encourage an appointment be made in advance. Each appointment will be 45 minutes in duration.  Walk-in visitors are also welcome as long as there is availability on the schedule.  Priority will be given to those who have scheduled appointments.

We do ask that if you are exhibiting signs of illness, contact the patient’s social worker and set up a video-visitation.

No food or drink is to be consumed by the patient or visitors during the visit.  Visitors may bring commercially packaged snack foods and drink items and leave them for patients. Be mindful of the amount as we have limited storage space.

Visitors will need a photo ID with them for checking in at which time they will be screened by security prior to being escorted to the visitation area.  Visitors are only allowed to have keys and cell phones with them during the visit.  

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last appointment at 4:00 p.m.) daily.  To schedule an appointment to visit PGH, please call 434-767-4401 or 804-766-3392.
