The dental department provides the following services for patients primarily from Hiram W. Davis Medical Center and Central State Hospital:
- Examinations
- Digital radiographs
- Prophylaxis (cleaning teeth)
- Scaling and root planing
- Root canal treatment for single rooted teeth
- Simple extractions
- Full and partial dentures
- Restorations (fillings)
These services are provided in the HWDMC dental clinic. These services can also be provided in our operating room under general anesthesia (GA) or intravenous sedation (IV) which is administered by our contract anesthesiologist.
