During Dental Care Awareness Month, the DBHDS Developmental Services’ Office of Integrated Health Support Network’s Mobile Dental Program was serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities (DD) throughout the community. 

Lynne B. shared photos and feedback on her son Mark’s visit with the staff from the dental bus at Encompass CSB’s clinic. The staff demonstrated how to properly use a toothbrush on Lynne. Mark then joined in and showed his mom and the staff how he could brush his mom’s teeth. He then sat in the chair for his own dental exam. 

Staff reported that Mark spread the word that they were nice to several of his friends who then visited the dental bus during the day.
