Your Human Rights While Receiving DBHDS Licensed, Funded, or Operated Services

Local and State Human Rights Committees
The function of Human Rights Committees is to ensure due process for individuals who are receiving or have recently received a service licensed, funded, or operated by DBHDS.

Forensic Services
Forensic services include mental health evaluations and screenings, treatment of individuals with mental illness in jail, case management and restoration of competency to stand trial.
DBHDS develops programs and services for individuals at risk for involvement in the criminal justice system.
SVP Services
Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) services support the delivery of evaluation, treatment, and supervision services to individuals found by the court to meet the criteria of sexually violent predator.

Thank you for your interest in Lightworks Recovery’s September 2026 CPRS Training. In this training, we focus on engagement skills, the core competencies and ethics of peer support, and the current behavioral health workplace. The training takes place in a virtual classroom setting, over 8 days. It includes group conversations, breakout exercises, and peer support role play.
